Article 370 Box Office Collection Surpasses ₹36 Crore Mark Worldwide
Article 370, the latest offering from Bollywood starring Yami Gautam, continues its successful run at the box office, crossing the ₹36 crore milestone worldwide. Directed by debutant Aditya Suhas Jambhale and produced by Jio Studios and B62 Studios, the film has been garnering praise from both critics and audiences since its release on February 23.
After a strong opening weekend, where it amassed ₹29.40 crore net in India alone, Article 370 maintained its momentum on weekdays, collecting ₹3.25 crore net on both Monday and Tuesday. The film’s steady performance at the box office reflects the positive word of mouth it has been receiving.
Despite facing challenges such as a ban in Gulf countries, Article 370 has managed to make a mark overseas, grossing ₹5.4 crore. With its India gross box office standing at ₹30.6 crore, the film’s worldwide collection stands at an impressive ₹36 crore.
In comparison, the action thriller Crakk, starring Vidyut Jamwal, has been lagging behind with a slower pace of earnings. Despite a reported budget of ₹45 crore, Crakk has only managed to muster ₹12.1 crore against Article 370’s ₹36 crore.
Article 370 not only showcases Yami Gautam’s prowess as an actor but also marks a promising debut for director Aditya Suhas Jambhale. With its compelling narrative and strong performances, the film is expected to continue its successful run at the box office in the days to come. (PTK)
