Army assist locals in fire fighting incident in Kupwara Village

Kupwara, 22 Dec (PTK) : The Indian Army helped avert a massive conflagration in Thaiyan Gujran kalaroos in North Kashmir’s Kupwara district on early morning of Wednesday.

Reports reaching Press trust of Kashmir (PTK) that the house of Mohd Ibrahim Dedad S/O Samasdin Dedad, Thaiyan Gujran caught fire and it was raging dangerously.

The sentry at Kalaroos COB noticed this fire incident and a Rescue Team was immediately rushed to the spot with fire extinguishers. Villagers were alerted by the Army and Fire Engine Vehicle at Kalaroos was also informed.

As the fire was very intense and only few locals could gather being early hours of morning, Army team along with Fire brigade vehicle defused the fire but couldn’t recover any households. By the time fire got defused most of the house was gutted in fire,however thhere was no loss of life or injury reported in the incident.

Later the army provided rations and some essentials to the affected family, so that they can live life normally.

Meanwhile Senior Citizens of the village extended thanks for spirit of unity displayed by men in uniform.(PTK).
