Amit shah’s first ever visit to union Territory after revocation of Article 370

 

Says Delimitation will happen after Elections & Restoration of Statehood, wants to be friends with kashmiri youth 

 

Srinagar, 23 Oct (PTK) : Union Home Minister Amit Shah on first ever visit to union Territory after revocation of article 370 reviewed security situations and addressed members of Jammu & Kashmir Youth club at Raj bhavan in Srinagar city here on Saturday.

 

According to press trust of Kashmir (PTK), On his first day of three day visit to valley, union home minister Amit shah while Addressing jammu and kashmir youth club at Srinagar he said “why should we stop delimitation? delimitation will happen in the UT followed by elections and then restoration of statehood.

I want to be friends with the Kashmiri youth,” Shah said in Srinagar.

 

Earlier in the day, soon after reaching Srinagar Shah accompanied by J&K LG Manoj Sinha, Union Min Jitendra Singh & DGP Dilbag Singh drove towards nowgam Srinagar to visit the house of slain CID inspector Parvez Ahmad, who was killed by suspected militants in June 2021 to offer condolences with his family.(PTK)
