Amit Shah warns Pakistan of another surgical strike if it doesn’t stop sponsoring killings in Kashmir
SRINAGAR, October 14 (PTK): Days after several terrorists were killed following civilian killings in the Kashmir Valley; Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Thursday said that India now gives a befitting reply to any kind of terror as they did in 2016. Remembering the surgical strikes carried out by the armed forces.
Speaking after laying the foundation stone of the National Forensic Science University (NFSU) near the capital, he said the surgical strikes sent a message across the world that no one can interfere along Indian borders.
Hitting out at the previous United Progressive Alliance (UPA) government at the Centre, the Home Minister said Delhi will do nothing before this even if terrorists break borders and create unrest in the country.
However, after the BJP came to power, India gave a befitting reply in 2016 in the form of a surgical strike after the terrorist attack in Uri, Jammu and Kashmir.
Earlier there were talks but from 2016 India started replying in the same language, he said in an apparent reference to Pakistan.
The surgical strike was a significant step under the leadership of PM Modi and former Defense Minister Manohar Parrikar. We gave the message that no one can obstruct India’s borders. There was a time for talks, but now is the time to act out of vengeance. (PTK)
