Amid surge in Covid cases, BRO 53 RCC To conduct Covid awareness campaign in north Kashmir’s Uri sector

Baramulla 04 May (PTK): Amid the surge in Covid cases, Border Roads Organization Beacon’s 53 RCC is going to conduct a Covid awareness campaign in north Kashmir’s Uri sector.
The awareness campaign kick-started Today with a cycle expedition which starts from Kaman Post up to Project Beacon HQ Srinagar, a Beacon official Told PTK
He added that the aim of the expedition is to create awareness about safeguarding measures against Covid pandemic among villagers and urbanites en route.
Day 1 highlights.
The Covid awareness drive commenced at 0909 hrs from Kaman Post giving out the message to the general public to stay safe by using masks, sanitizers and social distancing. He said
The expedition first hault was at Red Bridge, Isham village wherein a Medical Camp was organised by the med team of 53 RCC.No of masks, sanitizers were distributed to the locals and the med rep also motivated people to fight the Covid virus by maintaining proper social distancing and ensuring use of masks and sanitizers. While adding more to PTK Sources said the expedition will reach today Mohura where one road safety seminar is organized tomorrow and the cycle expedition will progress to Srinagar from there with their motto of Covid Awareness.
