Amandeep singh arrested by police in Jammu

Jammu Nov 03 (PTK):Amandeep singh who was leading protestors and made an attempt to host flag at PDP office Jammu has been arrested by police.

A police officer said that Amandeep singh has been arrested and FIR has registered against him.

Pertinently Amandeep along with other youth from Jammu protested in Jammu few days before and made an attempt to host flag, however, attempt was foiled by police.

He also had hoisted the national flag on the boundary wall near the main entrance of the PDP office and had a heated argument with two senior party leaders including former MLC Firdous Ahmad Tak.

Controversy erupted after former CM Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti had said that she would hold the flag only when the seperate flag of the erstwhile state is restored. (PTK)
