4 KG HEROIN RECOVERED IN DARGALOON AREA OF MENDHAR

Srinigar Nov 03 (PTK):Continuing the drive against drugs smuggling and narcotics,a joint patrolling party of police station Gursai along with SOG Mendher, 39 RR and 49 RR of Indian Army conducted search operation in general area of Dhargloon (Mendher) and during searches approximately 4 kg heroin like substance recoverd from Dhargloon area

On this a case FIR No.89/20 under sections 8/21/22 NDPS has been lodged in police station Gursai.investigation /search is continuing to probe its handlers and source

Since this area is near loc and evidences suggests its trans border smuggling links.

Pertinent to mention that this is consecutive fourth big recovery of narcotics in this border area of district Poonch by police and Securty forces in last 20 days.(PTK)
