ACD Doda inspects developmental works in Assar, Kastigarh Blocks
DODA, DECEMBER 19(PTK): Assistant Commissioner Development Doda, Phulail Singh yesterday conducted a day long extensive tour of Kastigarh-B Panchayat of Block Kastigarh and Top Neel Panchayat of Block Assar.
He was accompanied by BDO Kastigarh/Assar Anoop Kumar ,A.E Sunil Singh, J.E,VLW among other staff of Rural Development Department.
During the tour a series of grievance redressal camps were held at Kastigarh-B and Top Neel Panchayats.
During interaction with members of PRIs and Locals in Kastigarh-B, the people demanded early completion of Panchayat Ghar, Construction of drains for liquid waste management in Naik Mohalla, construction of community composite pits and road connectivity to Naik Mohalla.
After giving patient hearing to their demands, ACD asked the BDO Kastigarh to project the demands of the public in the relevant plan. The JE was asked to prepare estimates of the same to project the demands in the plan as per the requirement and feasibility and are executed in a time bound manner.
He also inspected progress on different works including the ongoing work at Panchayat Ghar Kastigarh-B.
Later, At Top Neel he inspected the ongoing construction of Panchayat Ghar and directed the contractor to ensure completion within 02 months.
He also interacted with the locals and listened to their demands including the developing of solar cluster at Top Neel, Road Connectivity to Top Neel, Clearance of CSCs and material liabilities, development of Play Ground at HSS Top Neel and construction of additional CSCs in the Panchayat.
After listening to their demands, the ACD Doda directed the BDO Assar to project the demands in the relevant Scheme.
En-route, the ACD also inspected the under construction link road from Upper Khalato to HSS Top Neel and various PMAY (G) houses.:-PTK

REASI, DECEMBER 19: An awareness programme on PMFME ODOP was conducted here today at Panchayat Ghar Panasa Block Thakrakot.
Over 50 farmers including unemployed youth participated in the awareness camp.
The programme was inaugurated by Chief Agriculture Officer and DNO PMFME, Harbans Singh in the presence of District Agriculture Officer Rajesh Verma, SMS DL Reasi Amit Sharma, SDAO Reasi Vinod Khajuria, Agriculture Extension officer Kanwaldeep Singh, JAEOs, AEAs and other officials of allied Departments.
Haji Bashir Ahmed, Naib Sarpanch, Shamsher Singh Ex- Sarpanch, PRI Members participated in the camp. Chief Agriculture officer discussed the detailed presentation of the scheme and enjoined upon the youth to set up micro food processing units of Mustard Chutney, Chillies powder packing & marketing, spices grinding, garlic paste etc.
The DAO elaborated the eligibility and terms of subsidy, interest and other related details of the scheme.
The SDAO Reasi also addressed the farmers and elaborated the steps being made for the implementation of the scheme by encouraging the youth of this far flung area of the District.
The PRI members lauded the efforts of the agriculture department in mitigating the problems of the farming community in remote and hilly areas.: –PTK.
