Abdul Majeed Padder visits Fire Victims of Halqa Dudkuchan D.K. Marg

‘Distributes blankets and essentials commodities among them’

Srinagar, Dec 22 (PTK): Former Minister and Apni Party Chief Coordinator & In-charge District Kulgam on Wednesday visited Dudkuchan where he met with various families whose houses were damaged in a recent hapless fire incident.

He regretted the huge losses incurred on the fire victims and also distributed blankets and essential commodities among them besides assuring them of all possible help.

In a statement issued here, Mr. Padder said that such an ominous incident has shattered the hopes of the families that need to be mended and demanded immediate rehabilitation of the fire affected families so that they face no further inconvenience in this harsh winter.

“The district administration must disburse ex-gratia relief to the fire victim families on a prompt basis. Besides paying an adequate compensation, the concerned authorities must ensure that a proper rehabilitation is provided to the affected families on a temporary basis in view of the cold weather condition,” he demanded. :-PTK.
