Woman Killed, Two Injured in Road Accident in Ganderbal

Ganderbal, Nov 2: A tragic road accident claimed the life of a woman and left two pedestrians injured in Haripora village, near Manigam, in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district this afternoon.

According to sources, a speeding vehicle struck three pedestrians near Haripora. The collision resulted in the death of one woman, identified as Mugle, wife of Ghulam Qadir Chopan, a resident of Haripora. Two others sustained critical injuries and were immediately taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Local police have initiated an investigation and taken cognizance of the incident. Further details are awaited.
