Four Security Personnel Injured in Srinagar Encounter

 

November 2, Srinagar: Four security personnel, including two CRPF jawans and two policemen, were injured in an encounter with terrorists in the Khanyar area of Srinagar on Saturday morning, officials said.

 

The clash began when security forces, acting on intelligence reports, launched a cordon and search operation. Terrorists opened fire on the search party, sparking a gunfight.

 

The injured personnel were promptly shifted to the Army’s 92 Base Hospital, where they are reported to be in stable condition. The operation in Khanyar remains ongoing, with security forces continuing their efforts to apprehend the terrorists.
