MP Engineer Rashid Cleared to Take Oath on July 5

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has granted consent for independent Member of Parliament Rashid Engineer to take his oath in Parliament on July 5. This consent, however, comes with specific conditions, including a restriction on media interactions.

Top Sources told news agency Press Trust of Kashmir that, the Patiala House Court is expected to pass an official order on this matter tomorrow, July 2. Rashid Engineer has requested interim bail or custody parole to facilitate his swearing-in ceremony as an MP.
