Police rescues stranded tourists from Natha Top
Srinagar January, 30 (PTK) Patnitop Police rescued stranded tourists from Natha Top area of Ramban district on Monday.
An official said that today a telephonic distress call was received in Police Post Patnitop that some tourists form Uttar Pradesh are stuck in the snow near Nathatop on the Nathatop-Sanasar road.
Acting swiftly, a special police team was constituted by Incharge Police Post Patnitop PSI Sushil Kumar and the rescue team immediately rushed to the spot, he said.
He said police party after doing strenuous and hectic efforts finally reached the spot amid intensive snowfall and all the three tourists were safely rescued.
He added that rescue operation was conducted under the close supervision of SHO Police Station Batote Inspector Sam Paul Gill, DySP Headquarters Ramban Pardeep Singh Sen and under SP Ramban Mohita Sharma. (PTK)
