Suspect detained after 15 Kg IED like material recovered in Udhampur

Press Trust Of Kashmir Srinagar Dec 26 :- J&K Police on Monday detained a suspected person after an IED material of around 15 kg was recovered from Basanatgarh area of Udhampur.

An official that police detained a suspect after they recovered IED-like material weighing around 15 kg in cylindrical shape.

He said that besides IED material, 300-400 gms of RDX, seven 7.62mm cartridges,5 detonators,1 coded sheet, one letter pad page of banned militant organisation LET was recovered.

He said that suspect has been been detained and further investigation has been taken up.
