CDS assured all help to have its grand inauguration

26 October- New Delhi (PTK)- Former MP and Chairman Uttarakhand War Memorial Shri Tarun Vijay met Chief of Defence Staff Gen Anil Chauhan  in his south block office and discussed several matters regarding inauguration of the Memorial in detail.

Gen Chauhan assured all help including setting up a name search app, sending Tanks for the Memorial and other support.

Shri Tarun Vijay said that it’s a matter of  honour for every Uttarakhandi to see a great warrior son of Himalaya take up the top position as CDS . Gen Chauhan is a pride of India.

He said very soon inauguration date will be announced and it will be a grand ceremony befitting the grace of our soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the nation. He thanked Gen Chauhan for his generous help.  :-(PTK).
