DC Shopian conducts tour of Chitragam Block, Takes Stock of Developmental Works under execution
Meets locals, listens to public demands and grievances
PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR SHOPIAN, OCTOBER, 19: Deputy Commissioner (DC), Sachin Kumar Vaishya today conducted an extensive tour of Chitragam block of the district in order to take first hand review of developmental works, public demands and grievances besides reviewing Govt offices functioning.
DC inspected the under- construction 25 Km length road project of Habdipora- Bijbehara and took stock of progress made. He was apprised by the concerned executing department that the work on which the project is going on speedily.

DC directed the concerned executing department (R&B) to speed up the upgradation road works in order to facilitate the general masses of the area keeping in view the ensuing winter season.
During the visit, people of various villages met DC and put forth some issues of public importance for favourable action.
DC heard issues of public importance and demands keenly and assured of early redressal of their genuine demands.
DC on the occasion while interacting with locals and respectable citizens sought their cooperation and proactive role in ongoing developmental activities.
DC also inspected Block Development Office Chittragam Kalan and enquired about the functioning of the office besides taking review of the works completed in the said Block during the ensuing year.
DC was informed that the execution of works is going on speedily in the block under various schemes. He was assured that all works shall be completed within a stipulated timeframe.
DDC emphasised upon BDO concerned for ensuring cent percent completion of works.
