SSP Ganderbal Nikhil Borkar-IPS flags-off mega awareness rally against drug abuse

PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR SRINAGAR OCT 15:In view of the growing menace of drug abuse and to aware the general public about ill effects of drug menace, Jammu Kashmir Teachers Association and Jammu Kashmir employment coordination committee in Ganderbal organized a rally under the banner of “Nasha Mukt Bharat” campaign which started from Government Degree College Ganderbal and culminated at Tourist resort Sonamarg.
The rally was flagged off by SSP Ganderbal Nikhil Borkar-IPS along with Deputy CEO and President JKTA.

SSP Ganderbal Nikhil Borkar-IPS gave an elaborated view about the menace of drugs, its sources, causes, consequences, role of every members of society. While speaking on the event, SSP aslo said that the issue of drug abuse is a challenge before the country. It is the duty of all stakeholders to join in creating awareness about the illegal use of drugs and the measures to be taken to prevent this menace.
President Jammu Kashmir Teachers Association Fayaz Shah advised youth to take part in sports activities besides excelling in their academics for proper channelization of their energy.
