29 foreigners among 100 militants killed this year so far:- IGP Kashmir

63 were affiliated with LeT, 24 with JeM

Srinagar June 13 (PTK)  100 militants including 71 locals and 29 foreigners were killed this year so far in Kashmir valley, IGP Kashmir said on Monday.

He said that in same period just half of it meaning 50 including just one foreign militant were killed.

He added that this year so far 63 militants affiliated with LeT and 24 with JeM were killed.

“100 Militants (71 local & 29 foreign) killed in different encounters in 5 months & 12 days this year in 2022. 50 militants (49 local & 01 foreign) were killed last year in 2021 in the same duration. Maximum losses to LeT (63) and JeM (24) militant outfits.” Kashmir Police zone tweeted while quoting IGP Kashmir. (PTK)
