12 year old missing minor found dead in Uri

Srinagar June 13 (PTK) A minor who went missing a day before has been found dead in Uri area of Baramulla district on Monday.

An official said that Shahid Ahmed son of Abdul Jabbar Ganai of Trikanjan Boniyar had taken his cattle for grazing on Sunday, however, he didn’t return back following which police was informed and search operation was started.

He said police, army and locals were part of the operation besides that sniffer dogs were also pressed into service and on Monday body parts of minor were found at two places.

He added that it seems minor was attacked by some wild animal in the area and further investigation in this regard is going on. (PTK)
