Ahead of her Shopian visit, Mehbooba put under house arrest

Press Trust of Kashmir | Srinagar :  PDP President and former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti alleged that she has been placed under house arrest ahead of her Shopian visit.

She said said that she had planned to visit Pandit family in Shopian.

“Placed under house arrest today because I wanted to visit the family of the Kashmiri pandit attacked in Shopian. GOI wilfully spreads fake propaganda about Kashmiri mainstream & muslims responsible for pandit exodus & doesn’t want this fake divisive narrative to be exposed,” Mehbooba Mufti tweeted.

It is pertinent to mention that Kashmiri pandit, Sonu Kumar Balaji, a resident of Shopian was shot at and injured at his native village in Chotigam Shopian

The incident was widely condemned by local Muslims and others as well.:-PTK.
