Flying Kick Sports Association of J&K Organized a Combined Event -Pedal and Trek for Peace

Srinagar , February 05 (PTK): The Flying Kick Association of Jammu and Kashmir in collaboration with JKYDF, Voice for peace and Justice and Uthaan Mission Trust organized a combined event “Pedal and Trek” for peace from Barsoo Ganderbal to Sainik School Manasbal and Onwards on mountain.

It was organized for the purpose to spread a message for peace while as more than 70 children from different areas of Ganderbal participated in the event. First a competition of cycling held from Barsoo to Sainik School and trekking competition onwards respectively. The First, Second and Thrid positions were awarded with memento’s and cash prizes.

Farooq Ganderbali, A renowned social activist while addressing the youth at event said, our budding generation is blessed with talent and need of an hour is to channelize the talent in positive way. He further said our youth is having a caliber to shine at National and International levels like Arif Khan represented us at Beijing Olympics. We are working to provide a platform to our youth for their Prosperous future.

The event was organised with an intent to show world that we don’t need any solidarity, our youth wants peace so that they can shine and make us proud.:-PTK.
