Army provide relief to fire Victims in Kalaroos Kupwara

Kupwara, 25 Dec (PTK) : Indian Army on Saturday provided humanitarian assistance to fire incident victims at Thaiyan Gujran, Kalaroos Kupwara.

According to a statement issued to Press trust of Kashmir (PTK) an army spokesman said that it provided humanitarian assistance to fire incident victims at Thaiyan Gujran in Kalaroos, Kupwara.

The statement reads that On 22 Dec 21, house of Mohd Ibrahim Dedad was completely gutted in fire incident wherein three families lost all their stuff and became homeless.

It added that local administration and affected families approached Army to provide some temporary shelters for the families to live till the time permanent arrangments are made.

Meanwhile indian army honouring the request, immediately provided three tents and pitched them near the location of old house and provided them with relief material aswell. In view of the harsh winter conditions, this act of Indian Army provides immediate relief to affected families, the statement reads. (PTK).
