Let Commander,other militant killed in Kulgam Gunfight : operation underway

They Were involved in killing of two Non-local labourers from bihar at Wanpoh : IGP Kashmir 

Kulgam, 20 Oct (PTK): The District comander Kulgam of Lashkar-e-Toiba outfit and other militant have been killed in an encounter between security forces and militants in Devsar area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Wednesday evening,the Inspector General of Police Vijay Kumar said they were involved in killing of two Non-local labourers from bihar at Wanpoh on 17th October.

According to press trust of Kashmir (PTK), Inspector General of Police said that district comander of Lashkar-e-Toiba outfit kulgam and other militant have been killed in devsar kulgam encounter, they were involved in killing of two Non-local labourers on 17/10 at Wanpoh .

Meanwhile kashmir zone police tweeted that “Police and Army neutralised LeT district commander (Gulzar Ahmd Reshi) of Kulgam and one other, who were involved in killings of two poor labourers from Bihar on 17/10/21 at Wanpoh: IGP Kashmir”.

Earlier a joint team of Jammu and Kashmir Police’s SOG , Army’s 9 RR and CRPF launched a Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) following specific inputs about the presence of militants movement in the area.

He adds as the joint team of security forces approached towards the suspected spot, the hiding militants fired upon them, which was retaliated, triggering an encounter. (PTK)
