Several villages of Ganderbal town facing drinking water Shortage

Ganderbal, 10 September (PTK) : Several villages of Ganderbal town have been reeling under acute shortage of water for the past many days, causing hardships to the locals.

According to press trust of Kashmir (PTK) locals of Saloora,Wanipora,Dadurhamma area of Ganderbal town are facing immense hardships due to non-availability of drinking water form last few days.

Mohammad aqib of dadurhama village said that the water taps in their village run dry from last 10 days and they had to cover long distances to fetch water.

“We have been facing shortage of water and the concerned authorities didn’t paid heed to our genuine grievance ,”he adds.

Meanwhile the people of the area urged the concerned authorities look into the matter and redress the genuine grievances at an earliest.(PTK)
