Encounter breaks out in Thana mandi again

Press Trust of Kashmir | Rajouri : An encounter broke out between militants and security forces in Thanamandi area of Rajouri district on Thursday morning, officials said here.

Encounter broke out after cordon and search operation was launched on Wednesday after reports of suspicious movement in Karyote kalas area, officials said.

They said that today as the forces zeroed in on the suspected spot, militants fired upon the them, triggering an encounter

Pertinently two militants were killed in an encounter in same area on August 06.(PTK).
