Minor Drowns While Taking Bath in North’s Hajin, Rescue Operation Underway

Press Trust of Kashmir | Bandipora : A rescue operation is underway to search a minor boy who drowned while taking bath in river Jhelum in Asham area of hajin in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district.

Sources told Press Trust Of Kashmir that a minor boy identified as Sajad Ahmad son of Shabir Ahmad Shiekh resident of Zonipora asham drowned into the river Jhelum while taking bath.

Soon after venturing into the waters, the boy went out of sight, prompting those accompanying him to raise a hue and cry, following which a rescue operation has been launched by SDRF team assisted by Police and locals.

So far there has been no clue of the missing boy, when this report is being filed.(PTK).
