Residents of Kulgad Achabal Anantnag appeal Lt Governor of J&K to widen the Anantnag Kishtiwar Road on both sides equally

Press trust of Kashmir | Anantang : Residents of Kulgad Achabal of Anantnag District appeal Lt Governor to seek address of their grievance of NH Anantnag Kishtiwar near Kulgad Achabal .
Residents told that in 2007 road was developed as National Highway and land had to be taken equally from both sides but some influential people are using their approach to violate the rule and divert the same to one side in order to protect their land on the other side.

While as farmers have already surrendered their land that comes in 50 feet but it is irony that NH authorities are not following the rule and allow white color people to exercise their powers illegally.
Authorities are requested to take strict action against the culprits in order develop this road without any corruption.
Farmers have already complained before higher authorities especially governor administration to look into the matter and start impartial enquiry.(PTK).

UDHAMPUR, MAY 29: Udhampur administration has set up a control room (Nos. 01992270501, 9419215796, 9469144143) in the DRDA Complex to monitor and facilitate COVID-19 patients admitted in the Panchayat level COVID Care Centres/ Isolation Centres.
The Control Room will function under the overall control of Assistant Commissioner Panchayat Udhampur.
The staff deputed by the Health, RDD & ICDS department shall look after the patients in the Covid Care Centres. Respective Sarpanches shall also coordinate in the process.
The Block Development Officer concerned shall be the Nodal Officer at Block Level to oversee the whole scenario and make the necessary liaison with the SDMs/Tehsildars in case of urgency.(PTK).
