My father working without salary for past two years:- Kulgam youth hours before suicide, Family condition forced me to take this extreme step

press trust of kashmir | KULGAM :A video of Kulgam youth who recorded his last wish on a video in which he detailed his reasons behind taking a extreme step is being widely shared on social media.

In video, he can be heard saying that he is going to take this extreme step due to family condition as his father hasn’t been given salary for past two years.

Youth identified as Shoib Bashir s/o Bashir Ahmad Mir of Avil Norrabad Kulgam has taken this extreme step some six days before, however, he succumbed a day before at SMHS.

I am going to sacrifice my life for all the teachers who haven’t received a salary from the past two and a half years, he can be heard saying and the reason behind his suicide is that his father hasn’t received salary for over two years now.

To resolve the issues of the employees whose salary has been kept withheld, I am giving my life, he said

Allah is with us and I request my family to remain patient he says at the end of the video.

A case has been already registered in this regard by police and investigation has been started.

Pertinently salaries of several employees are withheld in J&K for having reports about them that they are supporting separatism in one or the other way.(PTK).
