3571 new COVID positive cases reported in J&K, tally moves to 183486, Death toll rises 2370 with forty one new deaths

Srinagar, May 02 (PTK) Jammu and Kashmir today reported 3571 fresh positive cases of COVID, and forty one new deaths, taking the total tally cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 183486.

These cases include 1150 from Jammu division and 2421 from the Kashmir valley, as per the details provided in media bulletin by DIPR.

The details mentioned that Kashmir valley reports thirteen new deaths, while Jammu division reports twenty eight new deaths, taking the death toll to 2370 in Jammu and Kashmir.

Dividing the cases district wise, it mentioned that 1126 cases were reported from Srinagar, 268 from Baramulla,195 from Budgam, 99 from Pulwama, 122 from Kupwara, 222 from Anantnag, while Bandipora 71, Ganderbal 68, Kulgam 188, Shopian 62, Jammu 486, Udhampur 105, Rajouri 162, Doda 25, Kathua 120, Samba 115, Kishtwar 20, Poonch 45 Ramban 34 and Reasi 38.

Moreover, they said, 1453 patients were discharged from from various hospitals including 605 from Jammu division and 848 from Kashmir division.

They further said, out of 41 deaths, 15 died in GMC Jammu, 02 in GMC Rajouri, 05 in SMVDNH, Katra, 01 in GMC Kathua , 01 in GMC Doda, 01 in EMC Amritsar, 02 in CD Hospital Jammu, 01 in Home (Brought Dead), 02 in JLNM Srinagar, 02 in SKIMS Soura, 03 in SMHS, 01 in SKIMS(JVC) Bemina, 03 in DH Kulgam and 02 in DH Pulwama (PTK)
