1144 new COVID positive cases reported in J&K, tally moves to 144021, Death toll rises 2048 with two new deaths

Srinagar April 15 (PTK) Jammu and Kashmir today reported 1144 fresh positive cases of COVID and two new deaths, taking the total tally cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 144021.

These cases include 414 from Jammu division and 730 from the Kashmir valley, as per the details provided in media bulletin by DIPR.

The details mentioned that Kashmir valley reports one new death, while Jammu division also reports one new death, taking the death toll to 2048 in Jammu and Kashmir.

Dividing the cases district wise, it mentioned that 407 cases were reported from Srinagar, 89 from Baramulla, 97 from Budgam, 45 from Pulwama, 11 from Kupwara, 30 from Anantnag, while Bandipora 12, Ganderbal 05, Kulgam 33, Shopian 01, Jammu 223, Udhampur 29, Rajouri 33, Doda 10, Kathua 32, Samba 23, Kishtwar 04, Poonch 06 Ramban 11 and Reasi 43.

Moreover, they said, 562 patients were discharged from from various hospitals including 161 from Jammu division and 401 from Kashmir division. (PTK)
