835 new COVID positive cases reported in J&K, tally moves to 135662, highest in six months

 

Death toll rises 2019 with one new death

Srinagar April 08 (PTK) Jammu and Kashmir today reported 835 fresh positive cases of COVID, by so far highest in Six months, and one new death, taking the total tally cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 135662.

These cases include 280 from Jammu division and 555 from the Kashmir valley, as per the details provided in media bulletin by DIPR.

The details mentioned that Kashmir valley reports one new death, while Jammu division reports no new deaths, taking the death toll to 2019 in Jammu and Kashmir.

Dividing the cases district wise, it mentioned that 349 cases were reported from Srinagar, 74 from Baramulla, 24 from Budgam, 08 from Pulwama, 31 from Kupwara, 22 from Anantnag, while Bandipora 18, Ganderbal 07, Kulgam 18, Shopian 04, Jammu 148, Udhampur 35, Rajouri 09, Doda 04, Kathua 20, Samba 08, Kishtwar 04, Poonch 03, Ramban 02 and Reasi 47

Moreover, they said, 246 patients were discharged from from various hospitals including 22 from Jammu division and 224 from Kashmir division. (PTK)
