Two IPS officers Promoted To DGP Rank

Srinagar Feb 19(PTK) Government on Friday promoted two IPS officers of J&K cadre to DGP rank with effect from January 1 this year.

According to an order issued by Ministry of Home Affairs, Department of J&K and Ladakh, the 1991-batch IPS officers, R R Swain and A K Choudhary were promoted to the DGP rank with the approval of the Competent Authority.

It is likely one among them will be next DGP of J&K as Dilbagh Singh has got entry in central post. (PTK)
