SRINAGAR, FEB 16 (PTK): Formers chief minister and president People’s Democratic Party, Mehbooba Mufti Tuesday said that they are not talking about the restoration of statehood but all they want is to restore the special status of J&K.
Mehbooba Mufti said that the Kashmir issue should be resolved by initiating dialogue with Pakistan and the people of Jammu and Kashmir as there has been lot of bloodshed in last 30 years.
We demand our restoration of special status of J&K not only statehood, she said, adding that all political leaders must be released who are languishing in various jails in different jails.
Anyone who raise voices about the policies of the government are being suppressed, she said, adding that everybody watched how they arrested a 21-year-old girl for raising her voice in favour of the farmers who are protesting against newly framed farm laws,” she said.
