Ahead of visit to Para’s residence, Mehbooba Mufti, her daughter put under house arrest*

Sarinagar Nov, 27 (PTK) Ahead of visit to PDP’s youth leaders residence to Pulwama, Peoples Democratic Party chief and former chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir Mehbooba Mufti and her daughter was on Friday put under house arrest.

Her daughter Iltija Mufti said that her mother has been put under house today morning by the authorities as he was going to visit Waheed Para’s residence,

“Is this what you call democracy where you don’t have any right to exercise your freedom of speech and expression. You are being threatened and intimidated for raising voice about anything,” she said

Pertinently Parra was arrested by NIA two days before

Their cruelty knows no bounds. Waheed was arrested on baseless charges & I am not allowed to even console his family. Even my daughter Iltija has been placed under house arrest because she also wanted to visit Waheed’s family,” Tweeted Mehbooba.

“Ive been illegally detained yet again. Since two days, J&K admin has refused to allow me to visit @parawahid’s family in Pulwama. BJP Ministers & their puppets are allowed to move around in every corner of Kashmir but security is a problem only in my case,” She later tweeted.(PTK)
