Six more die of Covid kashmir, toll reaches 498

Srinagar,August 12 (PTK)  Six more persons died of Covid in Kashmir division, taking the toll of deaths related to covid-19 in Jammu division to 498.

Officials said that among six, two each died at SKIMS, SMHS and GMC Anantnag.

An official at SKIMS said that a 25-year-old male from Dangiwachi Baramulla who was admitted on 11 August and a man from Lal Bazar Srinagar who was admitted on 24 July also died on Wednesday.

An official from SMHS said that a 68-year-old-man from Rainawari and a 60-year-old man from Nawabazar Srinagar who was admitted on 04 August with pneumonia died on Wednesday.

An official from GMC Anantnag said that a 70-year-old man from Marhama Anantnag and a 50-year-old woman from Larkipora Anantnag who were undergoing treatment from past many days died on Tuesday.

With six more deaths, the death toll in J&K has reached to 498 including 461 from Kashmir division and 37 from Jammu division.(PTK)
