Labour from Rajouri drowns in Jehleum in Awantipora

SRINAGAR  JULY (PTK)A labour from Rajouri district of Jammu division drowned in Jehleum in Dogripora area of Awantipora belt of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

Locals said that labour drowned while he was extracting sand from Jehleum on Sunday morning.

An official also confirmed the incident while adding that soon after news spread in the area, police, SDRF team and locals started rescue operation, however, his body was found in Awantipora area on Sunday afternoon.

He identified the labour as Mohammad Zubair Tantray son (26) of Gh Qadir Tantray resident of Tarala Jageer Rajouri.
