She Hope Society for Women Entrepreneurs distributes relief in Srinagar
SRINAGAR JULY(PTK) In its third phase of distribution of relief, She Hope Society for Women Entrepreneurs (SHSFWE) organised a relief distribution program in district Srinagar at three locations in collaboration with District Administration. The distribution was conducted amongst economically disadvantaged people and families living below poverty line.
The distribution did not happen randomly. The beneficiaries were identified by SHSFWE’s field team who had conducted a thorough research on the families who suffered the most during this pandemic, so that the succor reaches the most deserving.
The distribution comprised Foodkits, Sanitary Napkins, Sanitizers, Masks, Catheters, Urine Bags and IEC material etc. The catheters and Urine bags were distributed among elderly population whereas ration went to needy and poor families.
Apart from distributing relief awareness about coronavirus disease was raised amongst the people present at the event through IEC material in accordance with the guidelines issued by World Health Organization (WHO) and Ministry of health and Family Welfare (MOHFW).
A total of 120 foodkits, 220 hand sanitizers, 180 masks, 70 sanitary napkins, 35 catheters were distributed by the organization. The distribution was conducted at, ICDS Madre Meharban Headquarters Miskeen Bagh, Rainawari and Hazratbal.
Braving summer heat, the team went about its distribution job meticulously following proper safety protocols.
The relief distribution was conducted by She Hope Society for Women Entrepreneurs (SHSFWE) with the support of HCL Foundation.
