60-year-old Kulgam woman dies, toll reaches 83

SRINAGAR  JUNE(PTK) With the death of 60-year-old COVID-19 at SKIMS,the death toll due to the virus in Jammu and Kashmir to 83.

An official said that a 60 year old woman from Kulgam who was admitted to the hospital on June 20, later tested positive for covid-19 and was diagonised of “EHBO – blockage of normal flow of bile from liver to intestinal tract – with septic shock.

So far, 83 people have succumbed to the virus in J&K—10 from Jammu and 73 from the Valley.
