JKTA delegation meets divisional commissioner Kashmir

SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir teachers Association led chairman Shah Fayaz  met divisional commissioner Kashmir, Baseer Ahmad Khan today at his office chamber in Srinagar.

In a statement issued here JKTA said that the delegation reminded Div Com about the 15th April deadline in which he had promised to resolve all the issues of erstwhile SSA teachers by or before the15  of this month.

Divisional Commissioner gave a patient hearing to the demands of the delegation. He apprised shah Fayaz and his team  that State treasury has released  salary of December  today, and  the payable  Salaries bills will be released by or before the 27th of this month.

He expressed regret but assured that all the issues of erstwhile SSA teachers will come to its logical in a time bound manner.

He assured the delegation that his office has put all the concerned stakeholders under strict instructions to make speedy disposal of the pending issues of teaching fraternity viz, regularization of teachers, transcription of SSA teachers into teacher grade ii, undergraduates  and their grievances and he is himself monitoring all the process.  The meeting ended on a positive note with the firm assurance of worthy Div Com.
