Civic Polls: Junaid Mattuu wins ward 14 of SMC

Srinagar, (PTK): Junaid Azim Mattuu, who left Jammu and Kashmir National Conference to contest the Municipal polls has reportedly won from ward 14 Rawalpora of Srinagar with about 180 votes.

Other than Rawalpora, as per reports, Mattuu is also contesting the elections from three other wards.

Mattuu left NC after the party’s decision to boycott the local elections.

The counting is being held at the Sher-e-Kashmir International Convention Centre (SKICC) in Srinagar and for the Jammu municipal corporation, it is being held at the Polytechnic Institute near Bikram Chowk.
