78th INDEPENDENCE DAY TIRANGA RALLY Conducted By Kangan Company, 34 Assam Rifles
Ganderbal : In the series of events to be organised on the occasion of 78th Independence Day, Tiranga Rally was organized on 14 Aug 2024 by Kangan Company of 34 Assam Rifles to celebrate the spirit of patriotism and unity. The rally saw participation from a diverse group of citizens, including more than 300 students, ten ESMs , Mr Mubashir Amin Tehsildar Kangan, Mr Nazir Sheikh, Mr Manzoor Ahmad Lone Sarpanch Kangan A, Mr Amir Sana Wani Sarpanch Akhal B, Mr Nissar Ahmad Malick, Principal Govt High School Chak Akhal, government officials and community members. The event aimed to honor the sacrifices made by the freedom fighters and to remind everyone of the importance of maintaining the unity and integrity of the nation.All the participants in the rally carried the Indian national flag, the Tiranga, with pride, as they marched through the streets, singing patriotic songs and chanting slogans of “Bharat Mata Ki Jai” and “Vande Mataram.” The streets were adorned with the colors of the national flag, creating a vibrant and festive atmosphere. The rally began at Govt High School , Chak Akhal and concluded the the same place after a run through of all the villages in the Bn AOR.
Capt Vishal Sagar, Company Commander 34 Assam Rifles motivated the students and told the students that The Tiranga Rally is not just a celebration of independence, but also a reminder of the responsibilities that come with it. It highlighted the importance of unity in diversity and the need for every citizen to contribute to the nation’s progress. The event concluded with the singing of the national anthem, filling the hearts of all present with pride and patriotism.
Overall, the Tiranga Rally on the 78th Independence Day was a resounding success, bringing the community together in a powerful display of national pride and unity.
