6 officials suspended for failing to check illegal construction on Nalla Sindh in Ganderbal

SRINAGAR JULy(PTK):-   Six officials were suspended in district Ganderbal for falling to check illegal construction on Nalla sindh in the district.

“Consequent upon raising of illegal constructions on Nalla Sindh in violation of Hon’ble High Court Order passed in PIL No: 404/2011 titled Qazi Rashid Shamas v/s State of J&K & Others, pending enquiry into the matter the following officers/officials are hereby placed under suspension with an immediate effect,” reads an order.

The officials who were put under suspension include
Bashir Ahmad Magray, revenue department, Girdawar and also holding additional charge of Patwar Halqa Akhal, Shafat Hakak Junior engineer, Abdul Rashid Dar,Abdul Ahad Malik, helpers in department, John Mohammad Wani Gate operator and Azhar Ahmad Hajam workers watcher all of Jal Shakti (I&FC) department.

The Assistant Commissioner Revenue Ganderbal shall conduct a discrete enquiry into the matter and furnish report within a fortnight, order further reads(PTK)
