50 percent shops to open within municipal limits of Ganderbal from Tomorrow

Sarinagar April 20 (PTK) In order to stop spread of Covid-19, district magistrate Ganderbal has ordered that only 50 percent will be allowed to open on daily basis.

As per the order issued in this regard whereas, the Government of Jammu & Kashmir vide order No:- 22-JK (DMRRR) of 2021 dated: 20/04/2021 has issued slew of fresh directions /instructions viz-a-viz COVID Containment; and Whereas, the Government of Jammu & Kashmir in its order mentioned supra has ordered inter alia market regulations (only 50 % Shops) within the Municipal Limits/Urban Local body limits in order to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic and break the transmission chain of the virus; and whereas, District Magistrate Ganderbal vide Order No:- 05-DMG of 021 dated: 20/04/2021 has ordered for implementation of the directions with regard to market regulation within Municipal Council limits Ganderbal Therefore, in view of above and in exercise of powers vested under the Disaster Management Act, 2005 it is hereby ordered that Shops and establishments within Municipal Council Ganderbal shall operate as per following schedule till further orders:

Chemists/Medical/Milk/ Milk Products /Vegetable/Fruit/ Nanwaie(Traditional Baker)/ Baby Food(s)/ Mutton/Poultry/Hotels/Restaurants will be allowed to open all days.

Home Delivery/Take away only, pesticides & fertilizers, Groceries/Kiryana/Bookshops/Stationary/Handicraf andloom Beauty Parlour Saloons/ Boutiques/Furnishing/Cloth Merchants/Tailors Hardware/Furniture/Photo shops/Building Materials will be allowed to open on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

Readymade Garments/Foot wear /Electronics/Mobile Shops /Cosmetics/ Jewellers/Repair-Workshops/Service stations will be allowed to move on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

Only those shops mentioned hereinabove shall be permitted on the schedule/timings given having arrangements /spacing for physical distancing, parking shall be allowed on Roads except designated/notified parking places, Wearing masks and physical distancing shall be mandatory, reads the order

The Police authorities /Executive Magistrate /Incident Commanders/Executive Officer Municipal Council Ganderbal shall enforce the order forthwith and any violation of this order by any person shall invite punitive action under the relevant law(s), it further adds. (PTK)
