5 Army Soldiers, SPO Injured in Doda Gunfight

Jammu : Five Army soldiers and a Special Police Officer (SPO) were injured after a nocturnal gunfight with militants in the Chattargala area of Doda district on Wednesday.

Officials reported that around 1:45 AM, a joint Naka operation by the Army and police encountered militants, leading to a firefight. The injured were promptly moved to SDH Bhaderwah for treatment.

Currently, there is no fresh exchange of fire, but search operations are ongoing.
