High number of voters in North Kashmir, create tough competition

Baramulla Dec, 07 (PTK) North Kashmir which has always been ahead in terms of polling has witnessed same enthusiasm in the fourth phase of DDC elections too.

According to PTK, the polling % had decreased during the first 3 phases compared to previous elections. But has shown an improvement in the 4th phase.

“North Kashmir has always actively participated in elections be it at any level. However, from some time the zeal was missing. It may be due to the lack of political government since 1-1.5 years.”

“This time the polling is beyond expectations. A tough competition is seen among all the parties. Even individual candidates have chances. The election atmosphere can be felt.”(PTK)
