249 new COVID positive cases reported in J&K, tally moves to 119877

Death toll rises 1867 with 06 new deaths.

Samba and Kishtwar reports no new cases.

Srinagar Dec 26 : (PTK) Jammu and Kashmir today reported 249 fresh positive cases of COVID and 06 new deaths, taking the total tally cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 119877.

These cases include 126 from Jammu division and 123 from the Kashmir valley, as per the details provided in media bulletin by DIPR.

The details mentioned that Two more COVID patients died in Kashmir valley while Four from Jammu also died taking the death toll to 1867 in Jammu and Kashmir.

Dividing the cases district wise, it mentioned that 49 cases were reported from Srinagar, 08 from Baramulla, 15 from Budgam, 09 from Pulwama, 10 from Kupwara, 08 from Anantnag while Bandipora reported 02, Ganderbal 08 , Kulgam 04, Shopian 10, Jammu 96, Rajouri 07 , Udhampur 02, Doda 05, Kathua 04, Poonch 01, Reasi 04, and Ramban 07

Moreover, they said, 369 patients were discharged from from various hospitals including 203 from Jammu division and 166 from Kashmir division. (PTK)
