1965 new COVID positive cases reported in J&K, tally moves to 154407, Death toll rises 2092 with eight new deaths

Srinagar April 22 (PTK) Jammu and Kashmir today reported 1965 fresh positive cases of COVID, and eight new deaths, taking the total tally cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 154407.

These cases include 789 from Jammu division and 1176 from the Kashmir valley, as per the details provided in media bulletin by DIPR.

The details mentioned that Kashmir valley reports six new deaths, while Jammu division reports two new deaths, taking the death toll to 2092 in Jammu and Kashmir.

Dividing the cases district wise, it mentioned that 590 cases were reported from Srinagar, 198 from Baramulla, 68 from Budgam, 62 from Pulwama, 54 from Kupwara, 105 from Anantnag, while Bandipora 13, Ganderbal 23, Kulgam 35, Shopian 28, Jammu 469, Udhampur 68, Rajouri 45, Doda 27, Kathua 31, Samba 31, Kishtwar 15, Poonch 13 Ramban 39 and Reasi 51.

Moreover, they said, 791 patients were discharged from from various hospitals including 242 from Jammu division and 549 from Kashmir division. (PTK)
