Summer Break Announced for University of Kashmir Affiliated Colleges

Srinagar, July 15: The University of Kashmir (KU) has announced a summer break for its affiliated colleges. The break will commence on July 18 and conclude on July 27, 2024.

According to an order issued by the Dean of the College Development Council, while the colleges will observe the summer break, both teaching and non-teaching staff are required to be available on inspection days as needed. Additionally, it is mandated that college libraries remain open during this period.

The order specifically applies to all private sector colleges affiliated with KU in the Kashmir division and the winter zone of the Jammu division.

This announcement aims to provide a brief respite for students while ensuring that administrative and educational support continues seamlessly.
