Strengthening Legal Preparedness: Police Begins NCL Training at DPL Pulwama
December 19(PTK): In a step towards enhancing legal awareness and professional efficiency, Police in Pulwama commenced a refresher training programme on New Criminal Laws (NCLs) at the District Police Lines (DPL) Pulwama.
The training programme aims to equip police personnel with in-depth understanding of the newly introduced criminal laws, focusing on updated legal provisions, procedural changes, investigation standards and their practical application in day-to-day policing. The refresher course is scheduled to be conducted from 05/12/2025 to 20/12/2025 through structured sessions and interactive discussions by senior police officers and legal experts.
Such initiatives underscore J&K Police’s commitment to strengthening legal preparedness, improving quality of investigations and ensuring effective and lawful policing.(PTK)
