Security Forces Uncover Significant Cache of Arms and Ammunition in Kupwara District

In a coordinated effort between the Border Security Force (BSF), Indian Army, and Jammu and Kashmir Police (JKP), a substantial cache of arms and ammunition was discovered in a separate operation conducted in the Rangwar area of Kupwara district.
Acting on specific intelligence provided by the BSF, a joint search operation was launched by BSF Kashmir and the Army in Rangwar Kupwara. The operation yielded significant results, with the recovery of various weapons and war-like stores.
According to a BSF Kashmir wrotes on X, the recovered items include a 9mm Pistol with 1 Magazine and 29 Rounds, an AK-47 with 1 Magazine and 400 Rounds, 2 Communication Sets, 1 Improvised Explosive Device (IED), 1 Hand Grenade, and other war-like stores.
The successful operation underscores the effectiveness of collaborative efforts among security forces in combating illicit activities and maintaining law and order in the region. The timely intervention based on actionable intelligence highlights the proactive approach adopted by security agencies to thwart potential threats posed by anti-social elements.
